Gain access to a deleted account in Apple School Manager?

Is there a way to reassign an account from Apple School Manager that was deleted? I am trying to access an iPad locked to an old account that has been deleted. I tried recreating it but I get an error that it is already in use and I would try and reset the password but no one has access to the email address. Thanks for any help.

Good Afternoon!

Once an account is deleted in Apple School Manager, it can not be reactivated. You mentioned the iPad is locked to an old account - is it Activation Lock you're dealing with? If so, you can remove the Activation Lock from the device as long as it is listed in Apple School Manager in your Devices Tab. It may be worth discussing further with your dedicated EDU SE.

You can find out who your Apple SE is by calling 1-800-800-2775 and choose option 4 to get connected with your school's Apple sales team.
