Classroom App - classes all of a sudden "Not Connected"

Hello! I'm hoping someone can help me out with a problem.

We use the Classroom app (which syncs from our SIS to ASM to our MDM). It usually works fairly smooth, but all of a sudden no student screens can be viewed, by any teachers.

The classes all seem to be set up properly, with teachers have access to all the students they normally would, and students being in the right classes. But when I look at a student iPad, it says the classes are "Not Connected".

If anyone has ever had that Not Connected error before, I'd be grateful to hear more. Or any other tips. The only lead I have is that we changed from Term 1 to Term 2 recently, but I don't see any other evidence that is the problem.

Thank you!

We have the exact same problem. :(

Unfortunately our teachers are helpless without viewing the students screens, eventhough we use Mosyle

We look forward for additional comments,

Best Regards,

My district had this same problem and when we updated to iPadOS26.1 that fixed all the issues.

We've had to sign students and teachers out of their Apple ID and back in. Helped with most
