Sol-La-Mi Solfege Journal (Winter Theme)

Lesson Details:

Elementary Music, Grade 1

Objective: Students will be able to read, write, and perform Sol, La, and Mi Solfege patterns and iconic notation in Keynote.

Student Directions:

1. Students drag and drop the pitches from the note box onto the staff to compose a four beat sol-la-mi melody pattern.
2. Students record themselves performing the melody pattern, and place their recording on the recording box.
3. Repeat these steps for each slide.
