Keynote shapes and animations have the power to create custom visual timers. This is great for young learners, language learners, and those needing help with time management.
]When presenting with Keynote, using shapes with set animations as timers, allows you to display content, directions or and activity and a timer all within the same app. It can be as simple as a status bar along the bottom of the screen or fun shapes that disappear with time.
How To Create a Growing Timer - The shape will slowly appear on the screen
- Select a shape that your prefer, matches your content or a simple rectangle
- In the Animation pane, use build-in and select wipe and adjust the time to 60 seconds
- For longer timers, connect the shape and adjust the setting to after previous
