Last summer, one of my students had the incredible opportunity to visit NASA — a dream come true for any young explorer. But what made her journey even more special was how it began: in our English class, with the help of Apple Vision Pro and the “Exploring Mars” app.
Before her trip, we designed a unique learning experience that merged language learning with space exploration. Using the Vision Pro, she was able to virtually step onto the surface of Mars, interact with the Curiosity rover, and uncover fascinating facts about the Red Planet — all while practicing English through immersive storytelling and scientific discussions.
The session wasn’t just about learning vocabulary; it was about sparking curiosity and connection. She asked meaningful questions, described what she saw, and even shared predictions about what she might experience at NASA. When she finally arrived there in person, she told me how familiar everything felt — as if she had already taken her first steps on Mars inside our classroom.
Moments like this remind me why I love combining Apple technology with education. With tools like Vision Pro, learning becomes more than reading about a place — it becomes living it. And for this student, it truly turned into a journey that began in English class and reached all the way to NASA.

I've seen that video, and that same student has been my student before.
Such and amazing experience it might have been!
Excellent work!
